Easy Fluffy Pancake Recipe
Pancakes remind me of home and my mother. We’ve all grown up on pancakes and maple syrup easy fluffy pancake recipe. It used to be the traditional breakfast and if you’re anything like me, and cooking is not your strongest point, then you probably depend on those pancake ready mixes. They are pretty good but they can’t beat the taste of those homemade pancakes.
Recently I came across this easy recipe for fluffy pancakes. Now I’ve seen loads of recipes online and just reading them scares me. There are a million steps, a thousand measurements and just reading the recipe exhausts me. This recipe was pretty simple or so it seemed. So, I decide to take a chance. And I don’t like to brag, but I think I nailed it. I am no easy fluffy pancake recipe master chef but I make pretty amazing pancakes. My stomach certainly thinks so. And who am I to argue with it?
I plan on sharing this easy fluffy pancake recipe for all those individuals who miss the taste and smell of homemade pancakes and are natural disasters in the kitchen. Fingers crossed you get the same results as I did.
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Take out a large bowl and put the flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt and then whisk them together. Once done with that, put it to one side.
Then take out a medium sized bowl and add the buttermilk, the egg and the melted butter. Whisk this combination.

The third step involves mixing the contents of both bowls. Stir the wet ingredients into the bowl which contains the flour etc. Mix them well and don’t worry if there are lumps present in the batter.
Now take out a non stick pan and grease it with oil. Keep a medium low heat on. Drop dollops of the batter onto the heated pan. When you notice the bubbles form, flip over the pancakes and cook for one to two minutes until they are completely cooked. And then dish them out.
Serve your easy light and fluffy pancakes topped with maple syrup and nutella, sliced fruits and a side of whipped cream.
